Towards a 21 st Century Teacher.

Assalamualaikum and good day everyone,

It has been a quiet long time for me to start  writing again as I am so busy to complete my official task in this IPG.  Today I would like to share my experience about gaining our aims of becoming a 21 st century teacher.Last week I was in a quiet famous boarding school. I was invited  with my friend to give a professional talk especially regarding pedagogy. I was really surprised that some of the teachers were not so alert about new methodology or even the personality that they should be or alike were not appeared. What I meant was they don't really put an effort to behave like a professional teacher, especially the way they dressed. So, when I reach home before I get to bed, I reflected that how are we teacher going to achieve the 21 st century teacher if we enjoy our comfort zone. Who are we hope to praise the novel profession? others who are always complain us, some body who are observe from far? or our own family in this education line. My answer is we ourselves have to respect first before we want other people respect us. meaning that start from today, we are all teachers must think and act like teachers, so that the victory, excellent, and the joyful of teachers job will growth again. Can you readers and viewers  give some opinion on that.......DON'T YOU THINK LIKE WHAT I THINK?

What is Creativity?

Hello friends,
 We meet again and have a pleasure moment with me to share something that I feel it will benefited us, in our daily teaching activities. First of all let look into this....

What is Creativity?

An Ability. A simple definition is that creativity is the ability to imagine or invent something new. As we will see below, creativity is not the ability to create out of nothing (only God can do that), but the ability to generate new ideas by combining, changing, or reapplying existing ideas. Some creative ideas are astonishing and brilliant, while others are just simple, good, practical ideas that no one seems to have thought of yet.
Believe it or not, everyone has substantial creative ability. Just look at how creative children are. In adults, creativity has too often been suppressed through education, but it is still there and can be reawakened. Often all that's needed to be creative is to make a commitment to creativity and to take the time for it.
An Attitude. Creativity is also an attitude: the ability to accept change and newness, a willingness to play with ideas and possibilities, a flexibility of outlook, the habit of enjoying the good, while looking for ways to improve it. We are socialized into accepting only a small number of permitted or normal things, like chocolate-covered strawberries, for example. The creative person realizes that there are other possibilities, like peanut butter and banana sandwiches, or chocolate-covered prunes.

Conversation Starters
The key factor behind prosperity of human race on earth is its enhanced conversational abilities. Indeed, conversation is an art. Here are some tips to improve these abilities for conversation starters.
You should have the ability to meet new people in a comfortable manner. If you meet up more people then it is easy for you to know the art of asking interesting and meaningful questions. You should also know the art of listening. No one in this world would like someone who disrupts or is anxious in telling his or her point. It is said that conversations are meant for harsh discussion, it is used to learn something about the other person.

You should know the type of question before you attend an occasion. You should be aware about the types of answers that might come across. You should think about the topic of conversation, it can be related to your business or your personal life.

You should be aware about your reason for attending the occasion. Think, are you attending it to have some information, building contacts, or to get some advice. Knowing the reason for attending the occasion will help you out to make most out of your time.

Introduction is one of the most important parts of a good conversation. The way of introducing will play an important role in deciding the type of conversation. During the conversation, let people know that you will be happy if called Chris and not Christopher.

You should talk to different people and give them sometime to talk to you as well. Do not try to interrupt while other people are speaking. If you want to start the conversation than you should start with the help of question such as, how are you? And so on. Do not ask close ended question.

If a newcomer is willing to join the group then you should drag him in the conversation, they will feel good about it. Try to make use of their name, while conversing with them.

How to start a conversation?
Now, you should know that conversation is one of the most important factors that will enhance the social skill of an individual. If you are worried, that you will not be able converse or if you think that during conversation you might say something that can ruin your image, then you should read the following tips that will help you out to start the conversation.

If you are thinking of conversation topic then you should not waste more time in thinking, as the best conversation starter is observing the surroundings, condition and person with whom you are willing to start a conversation.
Generally, people are more interested to talk about themselves. The way to start the conversation will also depend upon the person who speaks about himself or herself.

You can also start the conversation on the situation. Is their something that is remarkable in the situation? If yes, then you should comment on it and prepare a question that can effect on the conversation. One of the most important tips to start a conversation is your smile. It will also represent your confidence to converse with someone. Try to make sure that you start the conversation with a question. It is better to start the conversation with an open ended question.

Art of conversation
Conversation is an art that might be easy for you, but it can be difficult for lot of people. Learning the ways to cross the barrier is one of the most important factors in the art of conversation. The following three reasons will help you to know why people are not comfortable about conversation.

1. Lack of confidence
You will come across lot of people who will feel that other people will think that they are not clever. You should not think about it and be confident. One of the best ways to increase your confidence is to discuss something that you know. Do not try to join that discussion where you have no idea about the subject as you might be ignored. Even if you join such a group, then there are ways to come out that. You should start asking questions as they are the best way to converse with others.

2. What to say?
If you think that conversation starters are difficult then you have a misconception. It is advisable to start the conversation is to talk something that can interest for everyone in the group. One of the best conversation topic is to talk about the surroundings or current events.

A common and interesting topic will attract everyone to talk and it will lead to the best conversation. You should start a new topic and also start asking questions about the previous topic. Try to maintain a friendly tone that will help you to carry on the conversation.

3. Hurting someone.
You should keep in mind that you might say something that mind hurt someone. If you want to stay away these problems then you should not speak negative. You should not talk about religion, and profession. You should also avoid making personal comments.

Making Friends- When you want to say "no"

Isn't it sometimes difficult to say no? How often have you found yourself giving up a precious Saturday afternoon, buying a silly subscription, accepting a dinner invitation, joining a committee or playing football with friends, just because you could not say 'NO!
